The Pastry Cook role at Langham Hospitality Group is an integral position within the Food and Beverage division, offering a salary range of $33.65 to $35.45 per hour. This role centers on the preparation, baking, and cooking of pastry and related food items in accordance with the Pastry Chef’s precise specifications and Langham's high standards. The Pastry Cook is expected to take pride in crafting excellent food and demonstrate confidence in accurately reproducing menu items. Job Requirements

Job Duties
- prepares, seasons, cooks, and arranges all food items including soups, meats, vegetables, and meats for consumption in all Food & Beverage outlets
- independently maintain adequate supply of all prepared products on hand and ensure the proper storage and refrigeration of those items
- advise supervisor of low inventory and assist in receiving items and taking inventory as required
- ensure that spoilage and wastage are kept to a minimum by utilizing proper quantities and rotating products
- maintain a clean and well-organized work area including reach-in coolers, walk-in coolers, countertops, and dish area
- responsible for opening and closing checklists for production of daily menu items
- communicate clearly and concisely with all colleagues
- check in with Assistant Pastry Chef or Pastry Chef when beginning and ending shifts
