The role available at Walt Disney World Dolphin, located at 1500 Epcot Resorts Blvd, Lake Buena Vista, Florida, is a full-time, non-management position in the Food and Beverage and Culinary category. This position involves preparing and cooking food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines. Responsibilities include ingredient preparation such as portioning, chopping, and storing prior to cooking. The employee must safely and properly use kitchen tools, equipment, and appliances for baking and measurement. Food safety policies and personal hygiene protocols must be strictly followed. Monitoring appliance and food temperatures to ensure safety standards are met is essential, and any issues must be promptly reported to management. Maintaining and sanitizing the kitchen area, organizing workstations, and adhering to hygiene and cleaning procedures are daily tasks. Food quality and portion sizes should be monitored continuously throughout the workday. The role requires compliance with company policies, including safety, reporting accidents or unsafe conditions, and undergoing comprehensive safety training and certification. The team member must maintain a professional appearance and uphold confidentiality concerning proprietary information and company assets. Professional communication and proper telephone etiquette are expected. Positive working relationships within the team are encouraged to meet shared goals. Preferred aptitudes include a high school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
