Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Less than 1-year related work experience
  • Availability for evening shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Knowledge of food safety handling policies
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain cleanliness and sanitation
  • Good communication skills
  • Team player attitude

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to follow food safety and hygiene standards
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and food preparation techniques
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
  • Prepare ingredients including portioning, chopping, and storing food before use
  • Safely use baking and measuring tools, equipment, and appliances
  • Follow and ensure compliance with food safety handling policies and personal hygiene procedures
  • Check and ensure correct temperatures of kitchen appliances and food, reporting issues to management
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area, set up and break down work stations, follow cleaning procedures
  • Monitor quality of food prepared and portions served throughout the shift
  • Follow company policies including safety and security, report accidents and unsafe conditions
  • Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
  • Communicate clearly and maintain positive team relationships
  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting objects up to 25 pounds and moving over various surfaces
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors
