The company is committed to creating memorable dining experiences that enhance the quality of life for the communities it serves. By fostering a culture of respect, diversity, and inclusion, Unidine attracts top talent dedicated to making a positive impact through food and service.
Unidine is currently seeking both full-time and part-time Pastry Chefs to join their team at the Montereau location, situated at 6800 South Granite Avenue in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This role offers flexible schedules with shifts typically running from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., though exact days may vary and will be further discussed during the interview process. The hourly pay range for these positions is $14.00 to $16.00.
As a Pastry Chef with Unidine, you will be an integral part of the culinary team, responsible for creating, planning, and supervising the daily production of high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods. This is a key position within the company’s food production operations, playing a vital role in ensuring that menus meet high standards for taste, presentation, and quality. The role demands a blend of creativity and strong organizational skills to deliver products that delight residents and guests alike.
Your responsibilities will include supervising the daily production and distribution of all pastries and desserts, ensuring adherence to established recipes and quality standards. You will manage food costs meticulously and prepare appropriate quantities based on production needs. The position requires strict observance of food safety guidelines, presentation standards, and portion control to guarantee customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly pastry kitchen environment is essential. The Pastry Chef oversees sanitation and upkeep of equipment, ensuring all operations exceed federal, state, and corporate health regulations. You will supervise hourly kitchen and pastry staff, managing scheduling, training, payroll, and performance reviews, while fostering a positive and motivating work atmosphere.
Additionally, the position involves assisting in menu planning, specifically the development and implementation of seasonal pastry menus that align with current culinary trends and customer preferences. Monitoring inventory levels, ordering supplies, and managing vendor relations ensures all ingredients and products are available to maintain seamless production.
Unidine offers a dynamic and fun work environment where team members are valued and supported. Full-time employees have access to a robust benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, and more. Both full-time and part-time team members enjoy a range of voluntary benefits such as retirement plans, health and wellness programs, pet insurance, and identity theft protection. The company encourages continuous professional growth and fosters an environment where culinary professionals can thrive and develop their skills while making a meaningful difference in the lives of those served.
Joining Unidine means becoming part of a team that values creativity, teamwork, and dedication. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive and professional environment where your contributions directly impact the quality of foodservice and the overall guest experience. If you are passionate about pastry arts and enjoy working collaboratively to create exceptional food experiences, this could be the perfect career opportunity for you.
