The role of Pastry Chef de Partie at Four Seasons Nashville is pivotal within the culinary team.   • Culinary degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in a pastry or culinary role
  • Strong technical pastry and knife skills
  • Ability to multitask

Job Duties

  • Supervise the pastry team and daily operations for the assigned outlet
  • Assist in developing recipes, creating seasonal specials, and managing inventory orders
  • Lead kitchen operations in the absence of the Sous Chef
  • Train and mentor team members on recipes, techniques, and presentation standards
  • Prepare high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods in accordance with established standards
  • Ensure proper food preparation, portioning, and presentation at all times
  • Maintain food safety, sanitation, and storage standards in line with SOPs
  • Monitor inventory levels, minimize waste, and support food cost control efforts
  • Organize daily production, including prep lists, line setup, and freezer pulls
  • Ensure proper labeling, dating, and rotation of all food items
