Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a similar culinary role preferred
  • knowledge of pastry techniques and culinary standards
  • ability to stand and walk throughout shifts
  • capacity to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
  • excellent communication skills
  • adherence to health and safety regulations
  • availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Understand the importance and demonstrate a commitment to our 'Our Culinary Culture'
  • act as a leader and supervisor of the team, delegating and prioritizing duties
  • supervise colleagues to ensure high production and efficient service
  • maintain a positive and proactive approach to motivate the team
  • have full knowledge of all menu items, features, and promotions
  • ensure food preparation according to recipes and quality standards
  • communicate and enforce EHC and Servesafe standards
  • maintain cleanliness and proper rotation of products
  • report tardiness and unsafe practices
  • operate your station and prepare your team for your days off
  • share ideas and suggestions in daily briefings
  • liaise with chefs about guest feedback
  • continually improve food preparation and presentation
  • ensure compliance with sustainability practices
  • follow kitchen policies and procedures
  • perform other duties as assigned
