The Baker position at Aramark's location in Cornerstone Christian Schools offers a unique opportunity to be part of an exceptional Food Services Team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about baking and who enjoy experimenting with different flavors and baking techniques. As a baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a wide variety of food items, following mouth-watering standardized recipes and using state-of-the-art baking equipment. Your workstation will be set up with all necessary ingredients and tools, and you will take part in measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, and operating various kitchen appliances such as ovens, stoves, and mixers. Safety and hygiene are paramount at Aramark, and adherence to food safety policies, sanitation practices, and production guidelines will be a critical part of your duties.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience as a baker or in a related role preferred
  • required to obtain food safety certification(s)
  • demonstrates basic math and counting skills
  • demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • ability to lift, bend, push, pull and/or stand for extended periods
  • willing to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment as required

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Bakes and prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
  • sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
  • prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, etc.
  • operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, mixers, etc.
  • safely uses a variety of utensils including knives
  • properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
  • cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils
  • maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
  • adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
  • ensures security of company assets
