Job Requirements
- at least 3 years previous experience as a pastry cook or in a similar role
- knowledge of different pastry techniques and baking methods
- strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- creativity and ability to develop new pastry ideas
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other kitchen staff
- strong knowledge of cooking techniques and equipment
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- prolonged periods of standing and walking
- must be able to lift, balance and carry products weighing up to 25 pounds
- must be able to work aboard a boat that is away from dock for several hours at a time

Job Duties
- prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to recipes and established quality standards
- measure and mix ingredients, roll, cut, and shape dough, and bake items in the oven
- decorate pastries using icing, glazes, and other toppings
- decorate pastries using various techniques such as piping, glazing, and icing
- monitor baking process to ensure products are baked to perfection
- collaborate with the culinary team to create new pastry items and seasonal menus
- develop new recipes and menus and keep up with the latest trends
