Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous relevant experience in pastry preparation
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekdays weekends and holidays
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
  • Good communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a pastry cook or in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment preferred
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry preparation
  • Ability to develop and innovate pastry recipes
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Strong commitment to food safety and sanitation

Job Duties

  • Prepare pastry food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards
  • Stock maintain and ensure proper storage and refrigeration of an adequate supply of all prepared product
  • Develop new products for a-la-carte and catering menus as needed
  • Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal state local and company regulations
  • Display and set baked products on mobile carts according to specifications
  • Prepare daily requisitions for supplies and food items
