Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous relevant experience in pastry preparation
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekdays weekends and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Good communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a pastry cook or in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry preparation
- Ability to develop and innovate pastry recipes
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Strong commitment to food safety and sanitation
Job Duties
- Prepare pastry food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards
- Stock maintain and ensure proper storage and refrigeration of an adequate supply of all prepared product
- Develop new products for a-la-carte and catering menus as needed
- Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal state local and company regulations
- Display and set baked products on mobile carts according to specifications
- Prepare daily requisitions for supplies and food items
