Job Description

Cunningham Restaurant Group (CRG) has been a beacon of exceptional dining experiences since its inception in 1997 by owner Mike Cunningham. Starting from its modest beginnings in Brownsburg, Indiana, CRG has grown into a thriving tri-state restaurant group, housing forty restaurants across eighteen unique and innovative concepts. This steady expansion is fueled by CRG's deep commitment to community impact and a vision grounded in sustainable growth and culinary innovation. The group's mission revolves around providing guests with memorable dining moments, consistently raising the bar with quality, creativity, and impeccable service. Known for its diversity in cuisine and environments, CRG emphasizes not only delicious food but also the holistic experience that accompanies each visit, making it a favored choice among diners in the region.

The Pastry Chef role at CRG's Commission Row represents an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking culinary team passionate about elevating the dessert and pastry program. This role demands a dynamic professional who can lead, innovate, and collaborate to craft desserts that are not only delectable but also visually stunning and memorable. You will work alongside the executive chef and a talented culinary team to develop seasonal and inspired menus, manage the pastry production line, and uphold the highest quality standards in taste, presentation, and food safety. With a focus on creativity and ongoing innovation, the Pastry Chef will experiment with new flavors, techniques, and trends, continually enhancing the guest dining experience.

Leadership is a key component of this role, requiring the ability to motivate and mentor the pastry team to deliver consistent excellence. You'll also manage inventory, supplier relationships, and participate in special events, showcasing your creations at private dining and catering engagements. Physical stamina is necessary given the demands of a fast-paced kitchen that requires standing, lifting, and precise hand coordination. This position offers competitive compensation and opportunities for career advancement within the CRG family. If you're a dedicated culinary artist passionate about desserts and ready to contribute to a community-centered, innovative restaurant group, CRG invites you to bring your talents to Commission Row and be part of something truly special.
