Job Requirements

  • Degree or certification in pastry arts or culinary arts preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years as a pastry chef in a luxury hotel, fine dining restaurant, or high-end catering environment
  • Strong technical baking and decorating skills
  • Experience with plated desserts, buffets, wedding cakes, and banquet production
  • Artistic presentation skills and a deep appreciation for visual aesthetics
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Team-oriented with a passion for mentorship and development
  • ServSafe certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Design and execute innovative and seasonal dessert and pastry menus across all hotel outlets
  • Lead the daily production and quality control of pastries, breads, and desserts
  • Oversee all pastry operations for the restaurant, banquets, in-room dining, and special functions
  • Ensure that all items meet the hotel's standards for flavor, presentation, and quality
  • Train, supervise, and mentor pastry team members
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and proper storage of all pastry-related ingredients and equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and ensure all health and safety regulations are strictly followed
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary team on menu pairings and event offerings
