Job Requirements
- Culinary education or diploma/training in pastry and baking
- relevant experience in pastry, chocolate or baking
- ability to operate semi-industrial machinery
- strong organizational and analytical skills
- excellent communication abilities
- capacity to work independently and as part of a team
- flexibility to adapt to a dynamic work environment
- cultural sensitivity and multilingual capabilities are an advantage
Job Qualifications
- Culinary education or diploma/training in pastry and baking
- experience in pastry, chocolate, and baking
- experience with protein bars and bakery goods
- ability to use new technologies and raw materials to create new flavors
- curiosity and enthusiasm for exploring new ideas
- willingness to work with semi-industrial machinery in a laboratory environment
- strong teamwork, creativity, adaptability, and flexibility
- multicultural sensitivity
- proficiency in Spanish, Italian or French is a plus
Job Duties
- Create and manufacture food products and ensure precise recipe instructions
- manufacture samplings required for tasting sessions and physical-chemical tests
- ensure the timely and efficient execution of all laboratory tests in accordance with the evolution of the projects
- record and analyze data
- present product results to colleagues
- investigate and test new equipment and ingredients
- understand manufacturing processes for each food application including factory visits
- perform analysis of products developed or used by competitors
- perform technological evaluation of new laboratory equipment and propose investments
- participate in product innovation and development through executing ideas and developing food prototypes
- communicate effectively with internal stakeholders including marketing, product development, technical performance, and quality teams
