Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years baking experience in restaurants, catering, healthcare dining, bakeries, or commercial kitchens
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, recipes, measurements, and ingredient conversions
  • Food Handler's Card or ability to obtain upon hire
  • HACCP knowledge or willingness to complete HACCP training
  • Ability to follow recipes, production schedules, and food safety standards
  • Knowledge of commercial kitchen and bakery equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Dependable, organized, and quality-focused

Job Duties

  • Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to recipes and production schedules
  • Ensure quality control and consistency in all baked products
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of bakery work areas and equipment
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, including HACCP guidelines
  • Manage inventory of baking supplies and ingredients
  • Collaborate with culinary team to plan menus and accommodate dietary needs
  • Operate commercial kitchen and bakery equipment safely and efficiently
