The Country Club of Sioux Falls is currently seeking a creative, motivated, energetic, and dependable Pastry Chef to join their culinary team. This full-time, hourly position is ideal for an individual who is passionate about the art of pastry and baking, with a flair for creating bread, buns, rolls, desserts, and pastries that delight members and guests alike. The Pastry Chef will play a pivotal role in supporting the executive chef team to build menus for special events and ensuring that every culinary offering meets the highest standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene.
Responsibilities for this role include preparing a variety of baked goods and desserts for daily operations, managing kitchen activities within budgetary guidelines, and adhering to health and safety code compliance. The Pastry Chef will also assist with banquet functions and maintain a clean and organized culinary facility. This position requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with shifts often exceeding eight hours.
