Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 1 year of cooking experience
  • current Food Handler's Certificate
  • ability to obtain ServSafe Manager's Certification within first 90 days
  • POS user experience
  • ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • bring a positive attitude and be a great team player

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • experience using POS systems
  • current Food Handler's Certificate
  • capable of obtaining ServSafe Manager's Certification within first 90 days
  • strong attention to detail and creativity
  • excellent teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Create and prepare a variety of pastries and desserts with artistic flair and precision
  • adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
  • collaborate with kitchen staff to plan and execute menu offerings
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry work area
  • utilize POS systems to manage orders accurately
  • work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
  • innovate and tailor dessert menus to meet resident preferences and seasonal ingredients
