The role of Pastry Chef at Balfour Riverfront Park is a vital position within the culinary team, responsible for creating exquisite desserts and baked goods that not only delight the palate but also contribute to the overall dining experience of the residents. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday, from 6 AM to 2 PM, offering a competitive hourly wage of $24.00. The successful candidate will be an artistic and passionate professional who brings precision, creativity, and dedication to their craft in every dessert prepared. The Pastry Chef will work closely with kitchen staff to ensure that high standards of quality and presentation are consistently met.

In this role, the Pastry Chef is expected to maintain a clean and organized work environment, comply with food safety regulations, and continually innovate menu offerings to reflect seasonal ingredients and resident preferences. The position requires flexibility, as the chef may need to work weekends and holidays when necessary. Additionally, the Pastry Chef will use point-of-sale (POS) systems to manage orders efficiently.   • minimum 1 year of cooking experience
  • current Food Handler's Certificate
  • ability to obtain ServSafe Manager's Certification within first 90 days
  • POS user experience
  • ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
