As a Pastry Chef at Aramark, you will be a vital member of the Food Services Team, where your passion for baking and creativity will be highly valued. The Pastry Chef role requires excellent knowledge of baking procedures, including an understanding of sanitation and food safety regulations that must be rigorously followed to maintain the highest standards of hygiene and customer safety. You will handle essential baking instruments safely, including ovens, stoves, mixers, and knives, while ensuring that your workspace and tools are cleaned and disinfected thoroughly after use. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous baking experience preferred
  • Valid food safety certification
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and production guidelines
  • Physical capability to handle lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged standing
  • Willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment when required
  • Strong commitment to food safety and hygiene practices

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a baker or in a similar role
  • Established knowledge of baking procedures and sanitation regulations
  • Mandatory food safety certification
  • Proficiency in basic math operations and numerical counting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
