Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous baking experience preferred
  • Valid food safety certification
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and production guidelines
  • Physical capability to handle lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged standing
  • Willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment when required
  • Strong commitment to food safety and hygiene practices

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a baker or in a similar role
  • Established knowledge of baking procedures and sanitation regulations
  • Mandatory food safety certification
  • Proficiency in basic math operations and numerical counting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to convey messages through written and spoken communication
  • Capability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods

Job Duties

  • Create baked goods according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
  • Arrange work area with essential ingredients and tools needed for baking
  • Prepare ingredients by quantifying, weighing, blending, and chopping
  • Handle baking instruments such as ovens, stoves, and mixers
  • Follow food safety protocols for correct storage of goods
  • Clean and disinfect workspaces, tools, and utensils to maintain hygiene
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a positive attitude
