Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous bakery or pastry chef experience preferred
- Ability to work early morning shifts
- Ability to handle fast-paced kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a baker pastry chef or in a similar role is preferred
- Ability to use professional-grade kitchen appliances and equipment
- Knowledge of gluten-free baking sugar-free baking and other ingredient limitations
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Previous experience decorating cakes
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Team player with strong leadership skills
- Available for early morning shifts
Job Duties
- Prepare a variety of desserts and sweets including cakes pies cookies breads and pastries
- Develop new and innovative recipes
- Decorate cakes and baked goods
- Clean and sanitize equipment and baking areas
- Prepare custom orders
- Track maintain and order inventory as necessary
- Supervise pastry assistants and bakers
