Job Requirements

Experience: 1 year baking
Proven experience as a baker, pastry chef, or similar role
Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent time-management and organizational skills

Job Duties

Adhering to standards of personal cleanliness and proper uniform at all times
Displaying courteous disposition to guests, co-workers, and purveyors exemplifying hospitality standards
Cooperating with management and co-workers, assisting others with duties as needed
Adhering to Select recipes consistently receiving high ratings during tastings
Preparing sponges, fillings, toppings, frostings, icings, and assembling them into tortes, cakes, and pies
Decorating cakes, pies, tortes, and other pastries
Preparing garnishes for pastries and other desserts
