Job Requirements

  • 1+ year of professional baking experience
  • Ability to work early mornings
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy bags and stand for long periods
  • Attention to detail and discipline in measurements and timing
  • Ability to follow precise recipes and instructions
  • Good organizational skills
  • Willingness to learn artisan baking methods

Job Qualifications

  • 1+ year of professional baking experience, ideally in a high-volume or specialty bakery
  • Highly disciplined with measurements and timing
  • Physically capable of handling large bags of flour and standing for long shifts
  • Ability to work early morning hours
  • Familiarity with artisan bread-making and viennoiserie techniques is a plus

Job Duties

  • Execute daily bakes of croissants, sourdoughs, brioche, and seasonal pastries to the Pastry Chef's exact specifications
  • Master the timing and rotation of deck and convection ovens to ensure perfect crumb and crust
  • Monitor and manage the life of starters and proofing cycles of doughs, adjusting for humidity and temperature
  • Prepare fillings, glazes, and washes for morning bake
  • ensure bakery station is clean and reset for next shift
  • Ensure every baked item maintains consistency in taste and appearance
