As a Pastry Baker at Rosemont Market & Bakery, you will be joining a passionate and talented pastry team committed to excellence in baking. This full-time role requires an individual with a deep passion for baking and enthusiasm for working in a team-oriented, respectful, and inclusive environment. The position involves preparing, baking, and packaging a diverse range of baked goods from scratch, including traditional and seasonal pastries such as cookies, sweet and savory pies, brownies, muffins, and more. Working at the Rosemont HQ, you will have the opportunity to work with the highest quality ingredients in a professional kitchen designed to facilitate efficient and high-volume production.

The schedule consists of 40 hours per week spread over four 10-hour shifts, typically starting early at 5 AM, including one weekend day. This setup supports a rhythmic and focused work environment with structured hours. Alongside baking duties, all pastry team members share responsibilities for cleaning activities, including weekly and monthly deep cleaning to maintain the integrity and safety of the kitchen environment.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year of professional baking experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work four 10-hour shifts per week including one weekend day
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand and be active for the duration of the shift
  • Ability to lift, twist, squat, and reach
