Job Requirements
- Minimum one year of professional baking experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work four 10-hour shifts per week including one weekend day
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and be active for the duration of the shift
- Ability to lift, twist, squat, and reach
- Passion for baking
- Commitment to maintaining a respectful and inclusive work environment
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of professional baking experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredient handling
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and inclusive environment
- Excellent attention to detail and consistency in product quality
Job Duties
- Prepare baked goods from scratch including cookies, sweet and savory pies, brownies, and muffins
- Bake and package products consistently for quality control
- Follow efficient techniques for high-volume kitchen production
- Maintain industry-specific safety and sanitation standards
- Participate in cleaning activities including weekly and monthly deep cleaning
- Collaborate with pastry team members to meet production goals
- Assist in inventory management and ingredient preparation
