Job Requirements

  • previous experience in pastry or baking role
  • strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • ability to adhere to company policies and kitchen rules
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • physical ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • ability to lift heavy items up to 50 lbs
  • valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Produce and assemble desserts
  • create custards, buttercream, various bites, tarts, cookies, pate a choux, French macarons
  • produce breads, ice cream and sorbet
  • prepare gluten free, dairy free and vegan desserts
  • prepare desserts for weekly wedding tastings
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of pastry shop
  • monitor supplies and equipment
  • maintain and abide by state sanitation and health regulations
  • transfer and drive desserts to venues
