This role is situated in the Michaels store located in Gilroy, CA, and operates on a part-time basis with an hourly pay range of $17.25 to $20.30. The position centers on planning, coordinating, and facilitating engaging events within the store, including children's birthday parties and various craft classes. As an Event Coordinator within the store team, you will create a welcoming, fun, and creative environment for guests of all ages, ranging from young children to seniors. Your responsibilities will include detailed event preparation, client interaction, and the successful execution of party activities such as crafts, face painting, and decorations. You will also manage operational tasks like merchandise stocking, assisting customers with product selection, and delivering a fast, friendly checkout experience. The role demands strong organizational and communication skills, an energetic and enthusiastic personality, experience with children’s events, and the ability to maintain store recovery standards and company safety guidelines.
