Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
previous customer service or retail experience
ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings
ability to stand for long periods of time
ability to lift heavy boxes and use ladders
strong communication and interpersonal skills
ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others
must be able to perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
commitment to upholding cleanliness and safety standards
ability to adapt to a public retail store setting
willingness to engage with customers of all ages

Job Qualifications

retail and/or customer service experience
experience working with children and children’s events
excellent people skills
good written, verbal, and nonverbal communication skills
strong organizational, interpersonal, and creative problem-solving skills
energetic and enthusiastic personality

Job Duties

plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
engage with clients by creating a fun and creative environment
demonstrate and instruct craft projects and activities such as face painting
facilitate party add-ons including goody bags and balloons
communicate effectively with clients and store team members
complete administrative tasks such as answering emails and making phone calls
adjust events based on client feedback and ensure client satisfaction
uphold cleanliness and safety standards before and after events
assist customers with product selection and provide solutions
deliver fast and friendly checkout experience
promote rewards program and private label credit card enrollments
educate customers on voice of customer survey
support omni channel processes including buy online pickup in store and ship from store
participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram duties
maintain merchandise recovery and store cleanliness
support shrink and safety programs
adhere to standard operating procedures and company policies
interact respectfully and professionally with customers and team members
cross train in custom framing selling and production
