In this role, volunteers are expected to manage every aspect of the party planning process, including estimating costs and sourcing funds to purchase necessary supplies. Volunteers might raise funds themselves or use their own resources. The party setup includes decorations for the party space, materials for the activities, and the preparation of party favor bags that do not contain food or candy to ensure safety. Assembling these bags and coordinating with the agency for the pick-up of supplies requires good organizational skills and communication.

This volunteer opportunity requires a commitment of approximately three and a half hours, beginning with watching an informational video about Wayne Metro to understand the agency's mission and impact. The remaining time is dedicated to the actual planning and preparation duties to ensure the event is engaging and enjoyable for participating children.
