Job Description

CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment. It proudly operates iconic brands such as Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade, creating engaging environments where families and kids come to enjoy great food and play. Chuck E. Cheese celebrates over half a million birthdays each year, emphasizing its mission to create joyful, lasting memories through fun, food, and play. Known for its commitment to safety, community support, and innovation, the company has donated over $24 million to schools and nonprofits and was recognized as one of America's Greatest Workplaces in 2025, receiving the "Best in STEM" award as well. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment fosters a culture of diversity, inclusion, and employee well-being.

The Party Host position at Chuck E. Cheese is designed for energetic individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, fun environment where every event is an opportunity to create memorable experiences. This role is perfect for first-time job seekers or those looking to build a rewarding career within the company, where over 60% of managers are promoted from within. Party Hosts are the heartbeat of celebrations, responsible for preparing party areas by setting up tables, taking orders, attending to guests, and ensuring the birthday child and their party have an unforgettable experience. The role requires excellent customer service skills and an enthusiastic personality to keep the energy high and everything running smoothly.

This position offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $18.57 to $19.29, along with a commission structure that rewards sales of memberships and Fun Passes, paid out bi-weekly. Chuck E. Cheese also offers its innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing employees to access earned wages quickly instead of waiting for traditional pay cycles. The work environment includes typical entertainment center conditions, such as flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises. Physical requirements involve standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, squatting, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Beyond the day-to-day duties, Chuck E. Cheese provides access to numerous benefits for both part-time and full-time employees, including telemedicine, a 401(k) retirement plan, employee meal discounts, an Employee Assistance Program, tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time staff may enroll in fixed indemnity medical coverage, dental and vision options, and voluntary life and short-term disability benefits. Full-time employees working 29.5 hours or more weekly are eligible for comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits, paid sick/vacation time, paid holidays where applicable, FSA/HSA options, life and disability insurance, legal coverage, and additional educational support. The company complies with state and local laws regarding paid sick leave and other mandated benefits.

CEC Entertainment is committed to creating a safe and healthy workplace, adhering to rigorous health and sanitation standards to protect both employees and guests. The company values diversity and inclusion, ensuring equal employment opportunities without discrimination based on race, color, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status. Reasonable accommodations are available to support individuals with disabilities in performing essential functions. Working as a Party Host at Chuck E.
