Celebrated for its safety programs such as Kid Check and its contributions to community betterment with donations exceeding $24 million, the company is not only committed to fun but also to safety and social responsibility.
Chuck E. Cheese is particularly known for hosting over half a million birthday celebrations annually, emphasizing its tagline "Where a Kid Can Be a Kid®." The brand enriches children's experiences through play that supports physical wellness and motor skills development, making it a favorite destination for family outings. Peter Piper Pizza complements this with its neighborhood pizzeria atmosphere, where the fun is integrated into the meal experience. CEC Entertainment has been recognized for its leadership in workforce well-being, innovation, and STEM engagement, receiving the “Best in STEM” award and being named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in 2025.
The role of Party Host at Chuck E. Cheese is an exciting opportunity suited for individuals who enjoy creating joyful experiences for children and families. As a Party Host, you are the catalyst for memorable events, ensuring that every party runs smoothly and is full of fun and excitement. Responsibilities include preparing party areas, setting up tables, taking orders, attending to guests' needs, and ensuring that the birthday child has an exceptional and joyful experience. This position demands an energetic, enthusiastic personality with excellent customer service skills, as well as the physical ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds and engage in various physical activities such as standing, bending, and walking during shifts.
This is an hourly paid position with wages ranging from $11.00 to $15.13, complemented by exciting commission opportunities — exempt employees can earn commissions ranging from $0.50 to $10 for each Membership sold and between $0.15 and $3 for each Fun Pass sold, while non-exempt employees benefit from commissions between $2.00 and $8 for Memberships and $0.60 to $2.40 for Fun Passes, with payments distributed bi-weekly. Additionally, the company offers the innovative “Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow” program, allowing employees early wage access.
CEC Entertainment fosters an inclusive and diverse workplace, reflecting a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to ensuring fairness and respect in hiring and employment practices, free from discrimination based on race, colors, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristics. With a culture built around fun, family, and growth, and a management track record that promotes over 60% of its managers from within, Party Hosts have unique opportunities to grow their careers within the company.
Employees at CEC Entertainment enjoy a competitive benefits package that supports their health and well-being. All employees have access to telemedicine, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, employee meal discounts, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time employees may opt into fixed indemnity medical coverage, dental and vision plans, and voluntary life and short-term disability benefits. Full-time employees with a schedule averaging 29.5+ hours per week are eligible for comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid sick and vacation time, paid holidays (where applicable), FSA/HSA options, life and disability insurance, voluntary benefits, legal coverage, and additional education and student loan support.
Working at Chuck E. Cheese means being part of a team dedicated to safety, quality service, and creating unforgettable moments for families and children. The work environment is lively and dynamic, featuring flashing lights, mechanical rides, and loud noises, requiring individuals who can manage job stress effectively and interact positively with guests and co-workers. This role offers a vibrant, supportive workplace, a chance to build customer service skills, and a foundation for career advancement within an industry-leading company dedicated to fun and family happiness.
