Responsibilities include preparing party areas by setting up tables, taking orders, attending to guests, and making sure that the birthday child and guests have an exciting and enjoyable experience. This role requires energetic, enthusiastic individuals who excel in customer service and can maintain a lively atmosphere.

CEC Entertainment provides a "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing employees to access earned wages promptly, reducing financial stress. The compensation includes commission opportunities for Membership and Fun Pass sales, paid bi-weekly and varying by employment type. Exempt employees can earn commission ranging from $0.50 to $10.00 per Membership and $0.15 to $3.00 per Fun Pass sold. Non-exempt employees have commission potential from $2.00 to $8.00 per Membership and $0.60 to $2.40 per Fun Pass.

The Party Host position requires individuals to handle physical activities such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting during shifts. The work environment includes flashing lights, moving parts, and loud noises, demanding the ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with guests and team members. Shift flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the business.
