CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a leading family dining and entertainment company known for its iconic brands such as Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade. Established as a national leader, CEC Entertainment prides itself on creating joyful and lasting memories for families through food, fun, and play. The company operates nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries. Chuck E. Cheese is famous for celebrating over half a million birthdays annually and is dedicated to the safety and well-being of its guests and employees through rigorous health, sanitation standards, and innovative safety programs like Kid Check®. Committed to community support, CEC Entertainment has donated over $24 million to schools and nonprofit organizations, emphasizing its role as a socially responsible employer and community partner. The company was recognized in 2025 with the "Best in STEM" award and named one of America's Greatest Workplaces, underscoring its commitment to innovation and employee satisfaction.
The role being recruited is for a Party Host at Chuck E. Cheese, ideal for individuals seeking a first-time job or those looking to build a rewarding career in a dynamic, family-oriented environment. As a Party Host, you will play a critical role in elevating the guest experience by ensuring that every birthday party or event runs smoothly and is fun-filled. Responsibilities include preparing party areas by setting up tables, taking orders efficiently, attending to guests' needs, and making certain that the birthday child and attendees have an unforgettable celebration. This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $15.00 to $16.50, coupled with commission opportunities on sales of memberships and Fun Passes, paid bi-weekly.
Chuck E. Cheese also offers its employees an innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing for early access to earned wages, thereby providing financial flexibility. The company empowers Cast Members by cross-training them across a variety of roles, fostering skill development and career advancement. Over 60 percent of the management team has been promoted internally, reflecting the company’s strong culture of growth and opportunity.
Working at Chuck E. Cheese means thriving in a lively environment characterized by interactive games, stimulating lights, and sounds. As part of the job, employees might need to lift or carry items up to 50 pounds and engage in physical activities such as standing, bending, and walking throughout their shift. This role requires excellent customer service skills, an energetic and enthusiastic personality, and availability to work varied shifts. The environment can be loud with moving mechanical parts, so resilience and effective interaction with guests and co-workers are essential.
CEC Entertainment supports its employees with a comprehensive benefits package designed to accommodate diverse needs. All employees have access to telemedicine, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, employee meal discounts, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time staff can enroll in medical, dental, vision, and voluntary insurance plans, while full-time employees averaging 29.5+ hours weekly are eligible for extensive medical, dental, vision coverage, paid sick/vacation time, paid holidays, flexible spending accounts (FSA/HSA), life and disability insurance, legal coverage, and additional education and student loan support.
CEC Entertainment champions diversity, inclusion, and a culture of respect and fun. As an Equal Opportunity Employer, the company ensures that all hiring practices are free of discrimination based on race, color, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected class. Joining Chuck E. Cheese means becoming part of a family-oriented company that values every team member’s contribution to creating memorable experiences for families while fostering a positive and engaging workplace culture.
