The role of Party Host at Chuck E. Cheese is a key position within the organization that blends customer service with event coordination and entertainment. Party Hosts are responsible for ramping up the fun and energy at each event, ensuring every birthday celebration or special occasion is memorable and enjoyable. Core responsibilities include preparing and setting up party areas, managing guest orders, attending to the needs of guests throughout the event, and especially focusing on making sure the birthday child and their guests have a fantastic experience. This role demands a high level of enthusiasm, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Physical capabilities are important, as the job requires lifting or carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds and performing activities such as standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.

The work environment at Chuck E. Cheese is lively and interactive, characterized by flashing lights, mechanical rides, and ambient noise, all contributing to the vibrant atmosphere that defines the brand. Party Hosts must be adept at handling job-related stress and interacting effectively with guests and team members to maintain a warm, welcoming, and entertaining atmosphere. Availability for various shifts is required to support the flexible scheduling needs typical of the entertainment and hospitality sectors.

In addition to a competitive hourly wage ranging from $17.90 to $18.90, employees also have access to commission opportunities for selling memberships and Fun Passes. These commissions vary depending on exempt or non-exempt status and are paid bi-weekly, providing an additional incentive to excel in guest engagement and sales. CEC Entertainment extends a rich benefits package that supports physical, financial, and educational well-being, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, tuition assistance, employee meal discounts, and comprehensive wellness programs.
