Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment has established itself as a pillar in the family entertainment and dining industry. The company's commitment goes beyond just food and games; it focuses on creating lasting memories, safety, and strong community connections. For example, Chuck E. Cheese celebrates over half a million birthdays annually and has programs like Kid Check® that prioritize safety. Furthermore, CEC has donated more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits, emphasizing its dedication to community support and development. The brand values diversity, inclusivity, and employee well-being, as evidenced by its recognition as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces and winning the "Best in STEM" award in 2025, showcasing its innovation and leadership in the industry.
The role of a Party Host at Chuck E. Cheese is both dynamic and rewarding, perfect for individuals looking to build a career or gain first-time work experience in a vibrant family entertainment setting. Party Hosts play a vital role in enhancing the fun and excitement during events, ensuring that every party is memorable and enjoyable for children and their families. This role involves preparing the party area, setting up tables, taking orders, attending to guests, and making sure that the birthday child and all attendees have an unforgettable and joyful experience. Party Hosts are empowered to create an engaging atmosphere, contributing to the overall guest experience that Chuck E. Cheese is known for.
This position offers hourly compensation ranging from $15.00 to $16.00 and includes commission potential based on sales of memberships and Fun Passes. There are two commission structures depending on the exempt status of the employee, with commissions paid out bi-weekly. One of the unique benefits of working at Chuck E. Cheese is the "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, which allows employees to access their earned wages more frequently than traditional pay cycles. This is designed to provide financial flexibility and support for the workforce.
Working as a Party Host requires energy, enthusiasm, and excellent customer service skills. The job includes physical activity such as lifting objects up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, and moving in an environment that features flashing lights, mechanical parts, and loud noises, which reflects the vibrant and interactive atmosphere of the entertainment venues. The company also is committed to accommodating individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions and maintains rigorous health and sanitation standards to ensure the safety of both guests and employees.
CEC Entertainment offers more than just a job; it provides a platform for career growth, cross-training in various positions, and the potential for advancement, with over 60% of managers promoted from within the company. Employees benefit from comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401(k) retirement savings plans, job training, and a supportive work culture that emphasizes diversity, inclusion, and the joy of play. Joining Chuck E. Cheese means becoming a part of a team dedicated to making every visit a magical and memorable experience for families while simultaneously supporting employees' career and personal growth.
