CEC Entertainment, LLC ("CEC") is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, headquartered in Irving, Texas. The company proudly operates iconic brands such as Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade, creating an engaging atmosphere where families and kids can enjoy great food and exciting play experiences. Chuck E. Cheese alone celebrates over half a million birthdays annually, demonstrating its dedication to making joyful, lasting memories through food, fun, and play. The brand promotes safety through initiatives like Kid Check and has given more than $24 million to schools and nonprofit organizations. CEC Entertainment’s commitment to innovation and employee well-being was recognized in 2025 when it received the "Best in STEM" award and was named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces.
Peter Piper Pizza complements CEC’s offerings by providing a neighborhood pizzeria experience focused on quality food, entertainment, and family connection. Both Chuck E. Cheese and Peter Piper Pizza emphasize physical wellness and motor skill development in children through their entertainment attractions. Today, CEC Entertainment and its franchisees operate nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and more than 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries. The company fosters a diverse and inclusive culture that celebrates fun and play as a way to unite families.
The role being offered is Party Host at Chuck E. Cheese, which is part-time and hourly paid between $15.92 and $16.92. Party Hosts are essential to creating lively and memorable events by preparing party areas, setting up tables, taking orders, attending to guests, and ensuring the birthday child and guests have a fantastic time. The position includes commission opportunities based on sales of Memberships and Fun Passes, with commissions for exempt employees ranging from $0.50 to $10.00 per Membership and $0.15 to $3.00 per Fun Pass, and for non-exempt employees between $2.00 to $8.00 per Membership and $0.60 to $2.40 per Fun Pass. These commissions are paid bi-weekly unless local laws require otherwise.
Chuck E. Cheese is an ideal work environment for first-time job seekers or those looking to build a long-term career, with many managers promoted from within. The company emphasizes cross-training for Cast Members to deliver excellent customer service through various roles, ensuring a vibrant and inclusive workplace. The Party Host position requires an energetic and enthusiastic person with strong customer service skills and the ability to work various shifts. The physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and the ability to handle job stress and interact with guests and coworkers effectively. Work occurs in an environment with flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noise.
CEC Entertainment supports its employees with a comprehensive benefits package including telemedicine, early wage access through the "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, a 401(k) retirement plan, meal discounts, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time employees have options for medical coverage, dental, and vision plans, and voluntary life and short-term disability benefits. Full-time employees averaging 29.5+ hours per week are eligible for comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid sick and vacation time, holidays, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability coverage, legal benefits, and education support.
CEC Entertainment also complies fully with state and local laws regarding paid sick leave and other benefits, providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities. The company is dedicated to the safety and health of its guests and employees, maintaining rigorous health and sanitation standards that meet or exceed local requirements.
CEC Entertainment values diversity and inclusion, ensuring that its workforce reflects a wide range of backgrounds and perspectives. As an Equal Opportunity Employer, CEC prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, ancestry, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, veteran status, and other protected categories. This commitment fosters a workplace culture where every team member can thrive and contribute to the company’s mission of delivering exceptional family dining and entertainment experiences.
