CEC Entertainment fosters a vibrant culture of diversity and inclusion, ensuring that all employees and guests feel respected and valued. The organization emphasizes equal opportunity and does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other legally protected category. Beyond its customer focus, the company is committed to supporting its workforce with extensive benefits and career growth opportunities, making it an attractive employer for both first-time job seekers and those seeking to build a rewarding career in the hospitality and entertainment industry.
The role of Party Host at Chuck E. Cheese offers an exciting opportunity for energetic individuals who enjoy creating memorable experiences for children and families. Party Hosts are responsible for managing event spaces, setting up and decorating tables, taking orders, attending to guests, and ensuring the birthday child and attendees have a fantastic time. This position is perfect for candidates who thrive in lively, fun environments and possess excellent customer service skills. The role requires physical activity such as lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds and being able to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, walk, and squat during shifts. Given the dynamic nature of events, Party Hosts must also handle job stress effectively and maintain positive interactions with guests and coworkers.
CEC Entertainment offers competitive pay structures with commission potentials that vary by employment type. Exempt employees can earn commission ranging from $0.50 to $10.00 for each membership sold and $0.15 to $3.00 for each Fun Pass, while non-exempt employees have commissions from $2.00 to $8.00 per membership and $0.60 to $2.40 for Fun Passes. These commissions are paid out bi-weekly, aligning with state laws. The company also provides a "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing employees quicker access to their earnings.
Additional benefits include a 50% discount on meals during shifts, flexible scheduling options, employee scholarships, various perks and discount programs, an employee referral initiative, a CEC Cares Fund to support employees during catastrophes, paid sick leave accrued at 1 hour per 30 hours worked, and voluntary part-time benefits. CEC Entertainment emphasizes thorough health and sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for both guests and employees. Reasonable accommodations are available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role. Joining CEC Entertainment means becoming part of a dedicated team that values safety, inclusion, fun, and professional growth.
