As a company deeply dedicated to creating joyful, lasting memories, CEC Entertainment celebrates over half a million birthdays annually through fun, food, and play. The company’s commitment to safety, community support, and innovation is demonstrated through initiatives like the Kid Check program and donations exceeding $24 million to schools and nonprofits. In 2025, Chuck E. Cheese received prestigious awards like "Best in STEM" and was named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, reflecting its leadership in both industry innovation and employee well-being.
CEC Entertainment operates nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, fostering a culture of diversity, fun, and family connection. The family-friendly environment encourages both physical wellness and motor skills development for children through engaging attractions and entertaining experiences. The company and its franchisees prioritize a safe, inclusive, and supportive workplace where employees are empowered and recognized.
The Party Host role at Chuck E. Cheese is an exciting opportunity to be part of this vibrant culture by making every event unforgettable. Party Hosts are responsible for preparing and decorating party areas, managing orders, attending to guests, and ensuring that the birthday child has a magical experience. This position emphasizes enthusiasm, customer service excellence, and active participation in creating a lively and fun atmosphere. The role encourages growth and learning by empowering Cast Members to cross-train in multiple positions, supporting career development within CEC Entertainment where over 60% of managers have been promoted from within.
Employees in this position enjoy commission-based pay with potential earnings ranging from $0.50 to $10.00 for memberships and $0.15 to $3.00 for Fun Passes for exempt employees, and higher commission rates for non-exempt employees, paid bi-weekly. The company also offers a unique "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program to provide more immediate financial benefits. Other employee perks include a 50% meal discount during shifts, flexible scheduling to accommodate different life needs, scholarships, perks and discount programs, and an employee referral program. Additionally, CEC Entertainment supports employee welfare through initiatives such as the CEC Cares Fund, paid sick leave, and voluntary part-time benefits.
Party Host candidates must be at least 15 years old and demonstrate availability for various shifts, an energetic and enthusiastic personality, and excellent customer service skills. The physical nature of the job requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to perform activities such as standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting. The work environment includes exposure to flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises, and employees must be able to handle job-related stress while maintaining effective interactions with guests and coworkers. CEC Entertainment is committed to accessibility and provides reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
As an equal opportunity employer, CEC Entertainment values diversity and inclusion and does not discriminate on any legally protected basis, fostering a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for all employees. This role is ideal for first-time job seekers or those looking to build a dynamic career in a fun, family-oriented entertainment setting where teamwork and a passion for customer satisfaction are celebrated.
