The company proudly promotes diversity, inclusion, and a culture of fun and play to unite families everywhere.
Now, CEC Entertainment is hiring for the position of Party Host at Chuck E. Cheese. This role is perfect for first-time job seekers or those looking to build an exciting career within a dynamic and supportive environment. Party Hosts at Chuck E. Cheese play a vital role in elevating the fun and energy during any event, especially birthday celebrations. They are responsible for preparing the party area by setting up tables, taking orders, attending to guests, and ensuring the birthday child and their party have an unforgettable experience.
The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $17.75 to $18.75, with additional commission opportunities based on sales of Memberships and Fun Passes. Commissions vary for exempt and non-exempt employees and are paid bi-weekly. CEC Entertainment takes pride in empowering Cast Members through extensive cross-training across multiple roles, preparing them for career advancement opportunities. Over 60% of managers have been promoted from within the company, highlighting its commitment to internal growth.
Beyond pay, Party Hosts benefit from a range of perks including a 50% meal discount during shifts, flexible schedules, scholarship programs, employee referral incentives, and assistance through the CEC Cares Fund during emergencies. The work environment requires physical activity such as lifting up to 50 pounds and being on your feet for durations involving standing, bending, and other movements. The ability to manage job stress and interact positively with guests and co-workers is critical. The workplace includes flashing lights, mechanical parts, and noise, all part of the entertainment setting.
CEC Entertainment adheres to fair employment practices, including consideration of applicants with arrest and conviction records in compliance with the California Fair Chance Act and Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance. The company is committed to making reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
As an Equal Opportunity Employer, CEC values diversity in its workforce, striving to reflect the varied backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives of the guests it serves. The company fosters a vibrant, inclusive workplace where all employees can thrive and contribute to its mission of providing the best family dining and entertainment experience. With a commitment to health and safety, CEC maintains rigorous sanitation standards that meet or exceed local regulations to protect the well-being of staff and guests alike.
This Party Host opportunity not only provides a fun and energized work environment but also lays the foundation for career growth within a nationally respected company that is continuously recognized for its innovation and employee engagement.
