The Party Host role at Chuck E. Cheese embodies the company's vibrant culture and dedication to guest experience. Party Hosts play a crucial part in ensuring every event is unforgettable by preparing party areas, setting up tables, taking orders, attending to guests, and making sure the birthday child and their party guests have a blast. This position is ideal for first-time job seekers or individuals looking to build a career in a dynamic, family-friendly environment. Employees here are empowered through cross-training across various positions, enabling comprehensive skill development and career growth. Over 60% of managers at CEC Entertainment have been promoted from within, exemplifying the company's commitment to nurturing talent.

The compensation structure includes commission-based pay ranging from $0.50 to $10.00 for each Membership sold and $0.15 to $3.00 for each Fun Pass sold for exempt employees, with non-exempt employees earning between $2.00 and $8.00 per Membership and $0.60 to $2.40 per Fun Pass. This pay is issued bi-weekly unless state law requires different timing. The company offers a "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, providing employees with the benefit of receiving their earned wages promptly. Additionally, Party Hosts benefit from a competitive hourly wage, a 50% discount on meals during shifts, flexible scheduling options, scholarship opportunities, various perks and discounts, an employee referral program, and access to the CEC Cares Fund, which supports employees in times of crisis.

Working as a Party Host involves physical requirements such as lifting or carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds, the ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk, and squat throughout the shift. The role demands excellent customer service skills, energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to manage job-related stress while interacting effectively with guests and co-workers in a lively environment that includes flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and elevated noise levels. CEC Entertainment prioritizes health and safety by adhering to rigorous sanitation standards and operational protocols to protect its teams and guests. Furthermore, the company ensures reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities to perform their essential job functions.

As an Equal Opportunity Employer, it embraces applicants from all backgrounds, regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, veteran status, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
