Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in the family dining and entertainment industry. The company proudly operates iconic brands including Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment has created joyful, lasting memories for families and children through fun, food, and play. The company's commitment to safety, innovation, and community is reflected in initiatives like their Kid Check program and significant donations exceeding $24 million to schools and nonprofits. In 2025, Chuck E. Cheese was honored with the "Best in STEM" award and recognized as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, highlighting the brand's focus on innovation and employee wellbeing.
Chuck E. Cheese is proudly known as the place "Where a Kid Can Be a Kid"®. It hosts over half a million birthday celebrations annually, combining quality entertainment with engaging attractions that support physical wellness and motor skills development in children. Meanwhile, Peter Piper Pizza elevates the neighborhood pizzeria experience by delivering quality food and entertainment where "The Fun is Baked In". The company culture celebrates diversity and inclusiveness, creating a fun and supportive environment for employees and guests alike.
The company is currently hiring Party Hosts to join their dynamic team. This role is an excellent opportunity for first-time job seekers or those looking to build a lasting career in a lively, family-oriented environment. Party Hosts play a crucial part in the guest experience, ensuring every celebration is fun-filled and memorable. Their responsibilities include setting up party areas, taking orders, attending to guests, and making sure the birthday child remains the center of attention. The role demands an energetic and enthusiastic personality combined with excellent customer service skills.
CEC Entertainment emphasizes employee growth and development, with over 60% of their managers promoted internally. Party Hosts receive competitive hourly pay ranging from $11.00 to $15.13, with additional commission potential on Membership and Fun Pass sales. The company offers a "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" pay program that allows employees to access earned wages immediately, enhancing financial flexibility.
The physical nature of the job requires employees to lift or carry objects up to 50 pounds and to be physically active—standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing/pulling, walking, and squatting throughout their shift. Working in a vibrant environment featuring flashing lights, mechanical equipment, and high noise levels, Party Hosts must also be able to manage job stress and interact effectively with guests and team members.
CEC Entertainment supports its workforce with a wide array of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability coverage, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan. Employees benefit from flexible schedules, scholarships, a robust employee referral program, meal discounts during shifts, perks and discounts programs, and access to the CEC Cares Fund designed to help employees during emergencies.
Joining CEC Entertainment means being part of a brand that is deeply committed to safety, diversity, inclusion, and creating a positive workplace culture where fun and family come first. The company encourages applicants from diverse backgrounds to apply, ensuring equal opportunity regardless of race, gender, age, disability, or other protected classes.
