Job Description

The Party Host at Urban Air is a dynamic role perfect for individuals who thrive in lively, child-centered environments and enjoy being the life of the party. This position demands a vibrant personality and the ability to manage and execute children's parties with energy, creativity, and perfection. As the first point of contact for party guests, the Party Host sets the tone with a warm and cheerful welcome, ensuring that both children and their families feel comfortable and excited from the moment they arrive. The role involves various responsibilities including setting up and decorating party rooms, coordinating with guests and parents, managing the timing and flow of activities, and ensuring food such as hot, fresh pizza is served promptly. Party Hosts must also skillfully gauge when to increase the excitement, coordinate celebratory moments like cake time, and prepare the room efficiently for the next group of guests. Additionally, Urban Air offers comprehensive training so that Party Hosts can perform multiple roles within the park, ensuring the work remains engaging and diverse. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years or older
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Availability to work two out of three weekend days
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to multiple roles
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Passion for working with children and families

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 16 years or older
  • Prior experience in retail or hospitality preferred but not required
  • Exceptional personality with a strong focus on people and customer service
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations
  • Willingness and ability to work two out of three weekend days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Job Duties

  • Greet party guests warmly and be their first point of contact
  • Set up party rooms and ensure all decorations and arrangements are perfect
  • Assist parents and guests throughout the party to ensure a smooth experience
  • Serve food such as fresh pizza in a timely manner to party attendees
  • Manage timing for activities, energize the party atmosphere, and coordinate special moments like cake time
  • Prepare party rooms quickly and efficiently for incoming guests
  • Learn and perform various roles in the park through company training
