Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children and children’s events
- Retail or customer service experience
- Ability to communicate effectively in written, verbal, and nonverbal forms
- Organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain standing and physically active for long periods
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and handle equipment such as ladders
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Ability to comply with federal, state, and local legal employment requirements

- Experience working with children and children’s events
- Retail or customer service experience
- Excellent people skills
- Good communication skills including written, verbal, and listening skills
- Organizational, interpersonal, and creative problem-solving skills
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality
- Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with guests and co-workers
Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- Engage clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
- Demonstrate and instruct craft projects and perform activities such as face painting
- Facilitate party add-ons including goody bags and balloons to company standards
- Communicate events effectively with clients and store team members
- Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails and making phone calls
- Adjust plans based on client feedback and create emergency backup plans
- Ensure client satisfaction for events and uphold store cleanliness and safety standards
- Help customers shop and locate products
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- Engage customers on rewards and credit card enrollments
- Educate customers on surveys and assist with omni-channel processes
- Participate in truck unloading, stocking, planogram processes, and merchandise recovery
- Support shrink and safety programs and maintain compliance with company policies
- Interact respectfully with others and promote company vision and values
- Cross-train in custom framing selling and production
- Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
