Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in event coordination or similar role preferred
- Retail or customer service experience required
- Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store
- Capability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and use ladders safely
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings if needed

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- Engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
- Demonstrate and instruct craft projects and perform activities like face painting
- Facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons according to company standards
- Communicate effectively with clients and store team members regarding event details
- Complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
- Adjust plans based on client feedback and create backup plans
- Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards
- Help customers shop and locate products, providing solutions
- Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience
- Promote and enroll customers in Rewards programs and credit cards
- Educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys
- Assist with Omni channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store
- Participate in truck unload, stocking, and merchandise recovery duties
- Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to standard operating procedures
- Maintain positive and respectful interactions with customers and team members
- Cross-train in custom framing selling and production
- Participate in daily store cleanliness activities such as sweeping and dusting
