Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children and children’s events
- Retail or customer service experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to remain standing for long periods
- Ability to move throughout the store
- Ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladders or equipment
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others
- Must comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- Engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
- Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and activities like face painting
- Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards
- Communicate events with clients and store team members
- Complete administrative tasks including answering emails, making phone calls, and paperwork
- Adjust plans and create contingency plans based on client feedback and needs
- Help customers shop and locate products, and provide solutions
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- Promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments
- Educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
- Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store
- Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
- Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
- Perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
- Support shrink and safety programs
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company programs to ensure compliance
- Interact positively and respectfully with others
- Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production
- Participate in daily store cleanliness activities including sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Set up, break down, and clean before and after each event
- Uphold company cleanliness and safety standards
