The position involves planning and executing multiple events simultaneously while maintaining a fun, safe, and engaging environment. The Event Coordinator works closely with clients of all ages to deliver memorable craft experiences, including demonstrating and instructing craft projects and additional activities like face painting. The role also requires managing administrative duties such as responding to emails, making phone calls, and handling paperwork related to event coordination. Besides event responsibilities, team members assist customers throughout the store by helping them find products, providing creative solutions, and ensuring a fast and friendly checkout process. The position further involves operational duties such as unloading deliveries, merchandising, maintaining store standards, supporting safety programs, and keeping the store clean and well-organized. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in event coordination or retail customer service
- ability to remain standing for long periods
- capability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves
- ability to move throughout the store and perform physical tasks such as bending, carrying, and stretching
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- availability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children's birthday parties and craft classes
- engage clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
- demonstrate and instruct craft projects and perform face painting
- facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons
- communicate event details with clients and store team members
- complete administrative tasks including answering emails and making phone calls
- adjust event plans based on client feedback
- create backup or emergency plans
- ensure client satisfaction for events
- uphold cleanliness and safety standards before, during, and after events
- assist customers with shopping and product location
- provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- promote Rewards program and credit card enrollments
- educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
- assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes
- participate in truck unload, stocking, and merchandise recovery
- support shrink and safety programs
- adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
- interact positively and respectfully with customers and team members
- cross-trained in Custom Framing
- maintain daily store cleanliness including sweeping and dusting
- perform other duties as assigned
