This particular role based in the Hart-Avon, CT store involves planning, coordinating, and facilitating events, including children's birthday parties and various craft classes, to provide a fun, engaging, and stress-free experience for guests. The Event Coordinator plays a significant role in creating a lively environment where creativity is encouraged among community members of all ages, from kids to seniors. Alongside event management duties, the position requires delivering exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers, offering expertise in store products, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant shopping experience from entry through checkout.

The role also includes operational responsibilities such as unloading merchandise deliveries, maintaining merchandise displays according to company standards, and participating in store upkeep to uphold cleanliness and safety guidelines. Candidates will demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills, adeptly managing multiple tasks ranging from event logistics to administrative duties such as communication and paperwork. The position demands the ability to adapt to client feedback, create contingency plans for events, and ensure client satisfaction through attentive, personalized service.
