Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in event coordination or retail customer service
- ability to stand for long periods
- capability to lift heavy boxes and use ladders
- availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings
- effective communication skills
- strong organizational skills
- ability to maintain store cleanliness and safety
- physical capability for bending, reaching, carrying, and lifting
- willingness to follow company SOPs and policies
- ability to engage positively with customers and team members
- experience or willingness to cross-train in custom framing

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- engage clients of all ages creating a fun and creative environment
- demonstrate and instruct participants in craft projects and other activities
- facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons
- communicate event details with clients and store team members
- complete administrative tasks like answering emails, phone calls, and paperwork
- adjust event plans based on client feedback and create backup plans
- uphold cleanliness and safety standards by setting up and cleaning before and after events
- assist customers with shopping and product location
- provide fast and friendly checkout
- promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments
- educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
- support truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
- maintain merchandise recovery
- perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
- support shrink and safety programs
- adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
- interact with customers and team members positively and respectfully
- cross-train in custom framing sales and production
- participate in daily store cleanliness activities
