Michaels is a leading North American retail chain specializing in arts and crafts supplies, creative projects, and custom framing solutions. Established in 1973 and headquartered in Irving, Texas, Michaels operates over 1,300 stores across 49 states and Canada, as well as online platforms such as Michaels.com and Michaels.ca. With a commitment to fueling the joy of creativity and celebration, Michaels serves as the go-to destination for crafters, artists, hobbyists, and families looking to explore their creative potential. The company is also the parent of Artistree, a manufacturer of custom and specialty framing products, further cementing its position as a comprehensive provider of crafting and framing needs. Michaels places a strong emphasis on inclusivity, community, and sustainability, aiming to create a welcoming environment for all customers and employees alike. The company prides itself on providing robust employee benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, tuition assistance, and generous employee discounts, ensuring that team members feel valued and supported in their roles.

It is important to uphold the company’s cleanliness and safety standards before, during, and after events. As part of customer experience responsibilities, you will help customers locate products, assist with online order processes such as Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS), and cross-train in custom framing sales and production. The role expects physical stamina to remain standing for extended periods, lift heavy boxes, and access high shelves safely.
