Committed to inspiring creativity, the company offers a wide range of products including crafting materials, framing services, seasonal décor, and more. Michaels is recognized for empowering its customers to cultivate their artistic talents and celebrate creative moments with family and friends.

The Event Coordinator will also perform essential administrative duties such as answering emails, making phone calls, and updating paperwork to ensure all events meet company standards and client expectations.

Beyond event coordination, this role requires delivering outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers in locating products, addressing customer needs, and ensuring a rapid and friendly checkout experience. Engaging with customers about the company’s Rewards program, Private Label Credit Card offerings, and Voice of Customer surveys forms a key part of the customer experience responsibilities. The person in this role must also support store operations through participation in stock receiving, shelving, planogram maintenance, and store recovery activities, all while adhering to company policies and safety protocols.

Michaels emphasizes a positive and respectful team environment, expecting this individual to interact with others in a professional and supportive manner, even under challenging circumstances. Cross-training opportunities include participation in Custom Framing sales and production, enhancing the individual’s skills and versatility within the store.

Working at Michaels offers not just a job but a chance to become part of a vibrant community that values creativity, customer engagement, and teamwork. With a public retail environment that accommodates diverse activities, including some physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, the role suits energetic and enthusiastic candidates who thrive in dynamic settings.

Michaels provides comprehensive benefits for its team members, including health insurance covering medical, dental, and vision care, along with paid time off, tuition assistance, and employee discounts.
