This position is located in the SEA-ISSAQUAH, WA Michaels store and focuses on event coordination and customer service within the retail environment. The role entails planning, coordinating, and facilitating various events, such as children’s birthday parties and craft classes, to ensure a fun, engaging, and stress-free experience for guests. The Event Coordinator is responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for participants ranging from young children to older adults, showcasing creativity and excellent interpersonal skills. This position also emphasizes exceptional customer service by assisting customers with shopping, product identification, and checkout processes, contributing to a positive retail experience. Additional operational duties include merchandise handling, stock organization, and maintaining store standards for cleanliness, safety, and visual merchandising. The Event Coordinator must be able to juggle multiple responsibilities, including event setup and breakdown, administrative tasks, and adapting plans based on client feedback to maintain high satisfaction.
