This role is located at the Michaels store in North Aurora, Illinois, focusing on event coordination, customer service, and store operations. The primary responsibility involves planning, coordinating, and facilitating events such as children’s birthday parties and various craft classes, to provide an engaging and stress-free experience for guests of all ages. This position requires an enthusiastic individual who can interact effectively with customers and clients, manage multiple activities simultaneously, and promote creativity and fun within each event. The role also encompasses delivering friendly and efficient customer service by helping customers locate products, providing checkout support, and managing operational tasks including truck unloading and merchandising to maintain the store's standards. The hourly pay for this position ranges from $15.00 to $17.70 with potential eligibility for overtime compensation as per applicable laws.

The ideal candidate will be energetic, possess excellent communication skills, and have experience working with children and managing children’s events. They must excel in multitasking, problem-solving, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.
