This position is a Store Event Coordinator role situated in Richmond-Broad, VA, offering hourly pay ranging between $12.77 and $15.00, with the potential for overtime compensation in accordance with applicable laws. The role is designed to coordinate and facilitate diverse arts and crafts events such as children's birthday parties and craft classes within a Michaels store. The primary objective is to create a stress-free, fun, and engaging experience for guests, ensuring memorable and creative moments. The Event Coordinator is responsible for planning multiple events simultaneously, engaging with clients across all age groups, and delivering exceptional customer service throughout the store.

In addition to the event coordination duties, this role encompasses essential operational tasks including helping customers with their shopping needs, providing fast and friendly checkout experiences, assisting with inventory processes such as truck unloading and merchandising, and maintaining store standards and safety protocols.
