Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with children and children’s events
  • Retail and/or customer service experience
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods
  • Ability to move throughout the store
  • Ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladders or similar equipment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle job stress
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • Compliance with federal, state, and local legal job requirements

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • Engage with clients creating an environment of fun and creativity
  • Demonstrate and instruct craft project completion and perform activities like face painting
  • Facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards
  • Communicate event details with clients and team members
  • Complete administrative tasks like answering emails and paperwork
  • Adjust event plans based on client feedback and ensure client satisfaction
  • Uphold cleanliness and safety standards before and after events
  • Help customers shop and locate products
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • Promote and complete enrollments for Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
  • Educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) surveys
  • Assist with Omni channel processes including BOPIS and Ship From Store (SFS)
  • Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
  • Complete merchandise recovery and store maintenance
  • Perform Store in Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
  • Support shrink and safety programs
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies
  • Project a positive image and serve as a role model
  • Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production
  • Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
