The company also owns Artistree, which manufactures custom and specialty framing merchandise. Known as the best place for all things creative, Michaels is committed to supporting its customers and team members by providing a welcoming environment where creative ideas come to life. Additional duties include supporting the store’s operational tasks such as unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, maintaining store recovery standards, and participating in safety and shrink programs. The successful candidate must demonstrate enthusiasm and strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and coworkers, serving as a positive ambassador for the Michaels brand.
The job involves a blend of creative event management and retail tasks such as custom framing selling and production, requiring a well-rounded individual with retail experience and the ability to handle diverse responsibilities. The environment is dynamic, with work hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings, and tasks that may involve bending, lifting, and moving throughout the store. Michaels prioritizes the health and safety of its team by providing reasonable accommodations to those who require them to perform essential job functions.
Michaels offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $11.50 to $13.50 with access to a comprehensive benefits package for both full-time and part-time team members.
